Thank you for praying for Char. She exited the first hospital on 2/22 then went into a rehab. hospital. Lord willing, she will be going home Monday the 26th of Oct. She is well but unable to be as independent as she was before. So far she is unable to stand. Please pray she will regain strength and ability to stand again for dressing and transfers to wheelchairs and bed. She was diagnosed with a viral infection which was shutting down her entire system. She was non-responsive for awhile and it was frightening. Thanks be to God for his goodness and mercy.

My friend, Beth Brown, has asked for our church to pray for her father's wife, Joan Brown, who is in the hospital struggling with issues related to heart failure. Joan has a pacemaker which isn't working properly right now.Her heart is stopping a lot. She has coded on more than one occasion. Joan is on a heart transplant list and they hope that she is moving up as her situation is becoming more severe. Please pray for God's direction, provision and protection for Joan and her heart situation. Also, pray for Beth's father, Robert Brown, who is feeling discouraged and weary as this has been going on for almost two weeks. Last, please pray for the Brown family as they have suffered many losses and difficult situations in the last few years.

Update on Wendy Kizzar
rhcc@rollhill.org

Wendy and Mark met with the kidney cancer specialist from UCSF yesterday. They like this new doctor. This UCSF doctor agreed with the radiation plan that Wendy is currently following so she will continue to have radiation treatments daily, excluding weekends, until August 5. After her last treatment they will wait two months (till October) and then do another scan to see if the radiation treatments were successful in shrinking or stopping the growth of the tumor. If they are then she will be done and the doctor will continue to monitor Wendy. If the radiation treatments don't work then they will have to determine the next step to take. Wendy is feeling pretty good and so far she is not experiencing any serious side effects from the radiation treatments. She is so thankful for everyone's prayers and support and believes the prayers are working. Will you please continue to pray for her? Praises:· Wendy is feeling good!· Wendy and Mark like the new doctor from UCSF. Prayer Requests:· Wendy will get through the radiation treatments without fatigue and bad side effects The radiation treatments are at 8:30 am every morning until August 5 (excluding weekends) If possible, please pray for her at this time· The radiation treatments will be successful in shrinking and stopping the growth of the tumor· The pathology report would be completed. Its been over a month since her surgery and Wendy still does not have a conclusive pathology report.· She would be healed of her irritating cough· She would be completely healed of this cancer! Thank you so much! God bless!

Well your not going to believe this but the surgeon cancelled Denise's surgery! He didn't feel that he could do this surgery because the tumor is connected to the nerves in Denise's back and at W.C. Kaiser they didn't have a Neurosurgeon to assist in the surgery. So we are heading to Redwood City kaiser where there is a Neurosurgeon and Denise's surgery date has been moved up to the 18th, Hopefully! Please pray on that! God is Great! I guess He wanted a better Surgeon for Denise's condition! We have an awesome God! Keep praying, we Love you all! God Bless;Roy

Please pray for my niece, Marleen. She is in the hospital with back and neck pain; she can only lay on her side. If she sits up she cannot hold her head up. They are running extensive tests (including bone marrow and blood tests) and have ruled out meningitis and lymphoma, but are still trying to discover the cause. She is 23 years old, with a 2 year old; this is very difficult for the Marleen and the family. She knows of the Lord, but has not accepted Him as her Savior. Please pray for her health and her heart. thank you! -Rhonda

I have a cousin in Arizona who recently had a stroke. She has serious problems with her lungs and breathing already. Now her lung problems have kicked in and she is on "comfort care." I pray she does not leave here without bowing her heart to our Savior, receiving forgiveness and eternal life with Him. I trust God in that he has been revealing himself to her for a lifetime. I pray our God draws her unto Jesus, even now.

Thank you to all who prayed for my sister last year after her dog attack incident. After nine months of being out of commission, she has returned to a regular lifestyle, is back to work, and doing even better than before her injury! Her case is closed and she is grateful for God's goodness to her. Even more she is firmly convinced of God's love for her. As she quipped the other day, "God likes me!". Thank you so much for being part of carrying her burden!

Denise is having problems breathing, went to the hospital today and they drained out of her left lung 1 1/2 leaders of fluid. They are taking test and will not know the results in a day or so. She doesn't have Pneumonia so we don't know what it could be, but the Doctors haven't ruled out lung cancer yet! So Please Pray that the test come back OK and she can start breathing better SOON! Thank you! God Bless You all, Roy
